Probably the most well-known tourist attraction in the area, the Fort is one of those "must see" places filled with history and great views.

A corn maze will be in operation during our wedding weekend, as well as a re0enactment of Brown's Raid!

Check out the reception site before the reception! Touted as "the Birthplace of the Electric Age," this Ironville gem houses much of the area's history. Halley grew up helping out at annual fundraisers (the Pancake Breakfast, the Chicken BBQ, and the Apple Folk Fest) and even gave tours.

The bridge (and pictured lighthouse) are free to enjoy. The newly completed bridge features beautiful sideways on both sides. The Bridge Restaurant, on the Vermont side, is a great place to stop for a snack or ice cream after the "trek" from New York.

Hours: 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Thursday-Wednesday

Cost: $4 per adult, $3 per senior,

children under 12 free

While not as popular as Fort Ti, the Crown Point State Historic Site can boast original ruins and beautiful views along Lake Champlain. There is a really great museum and several low-key hiking trails as well!

So, what is there to actually do around here anyway?

There is so much to do in the area, that we find it hard to fit everything on just one page!

Check out http://visitadirondacks.com/ for waaay more things to do!

One might say the tour is...bear-able...with more puns than you'd probably like, but absolutely worth a stop if you're headed over that way anyway. You can learn how the famous bears are made, what happens at the Bear Hospital, and even walk away with a "button bear" of your very own!

Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Cost: $24 per adult ($2 senior/AAA discount), $14 per youth (13-17), $12 per child (5-12),

children under 5 free

This museum is amazing. They have an incredible circus exhibit, an old carousel, the actual Steamboat Ticonderoga, and a variety of changing exhibits. Halley's grandmother volunteers in the development offices at least once each week and loves it!

The home of the 1932 and 1980 Olympics is a great place to spend the day. Shopping, eating, going to the top of the ski jumps, and so much more. Several events are happening during our wedding weekend, including the Adirondack Canoe Classic, so if you have time definitely make this a stop!

Simply walk the trails for fabulous views of these amazing rock formations or make it a little more adventurous with raft or tube ride! It might be a little too cold for some to brave the waters, but it's an incredible experience.

Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Cost: Varies depending on activity but hiking/exploring only is $17.95 per adult,

$9.95 per child
